K9 Massage has all the same wonderful benefits for the dogs as it does humans.
The biggest benefit is the fact that it is all natural and the dog's own body is working to heal itself internally by massaging the muscles to keep them loose and moving the fluids through the body to help the natural endorphins (pain relievers) go the sore areas of the body on it's own. It also helps with young dogs to teach them that touch is ok, this helps with brushing and grooming as time goes on.
I travel right to the dogs home, so they stay within their own environment and they are able to relax and enjoy all the benefits of the massage while comfy and safe.
Take a run around the site and visit the Paws-abilities page with any questions or session requests you may have. Thank you!
If there is one place in the world where I can get re-focused it's by the ocean, especially at Nubble Light! Here with me is Nitro (my personal dog & demo assistant) and Karl ( a beautiful, gentle, sweet loving Pit Bull Terrier. Karl had an accident at a very young age and lost his back leg. He was rescued and brought to Maine to enjoy his wonderful like. He receives occasional massages to help his reduce his body's stress from walking on only 3 legs. Don't be fooled, he's very active!
